Joanne and Steve's wedding at Frasers Barn

It was a new venue for us at the weekend, which is always good fun. We were down in Egerton at Frasers Barn (www.frasers-events.co.uk). We weren't disappointed as the venue is lovely and Lisa ensures all the finer details are taken care of, with a refreshing attention to detail. The outside seating area is wonderful and it is a really contemporary feel for such a rural location. Joanne and Steve had their reception in the attached marquee and had always wanted a pink and white theme with a contemporary feel. They wanted their flowers to be relatively simple, and yet striking and to be a mixture of roses, lilies and gerberas.

For the tables, Joanne and Steve decided just to go for half their guest tables being dressed with flowers and hence we decided on quite striking Martini vases filled with hot pink sisal, fairy lights and a pink and white top arrangement which needed to be relatively compact. For the top table, we kept to a long and low arrangement using all the flowers used elsewhere.

Joanne wanted very simple bouquets for her seven bridesmaids as their dresses were quite detailed, and we thus decided to use a few gerberas in a line arrangement for them to carry across their arm. Joanne herself had always been very clear that she wanted just pink roses in a hand-tied arrangement and we just added a little sparkle to the stems.

Whilst we don't have the photos of the bridal party as yet, we know it will have been a very glamorous wedding, especially having seen the hair and make-up of the bride and a few of the bridesmaids....can't wait to see the photos.
