On the hottest day of the year to date (who thought we'd need suncream in April), Michelle married Stephane at The Hop Farm. Michelle and Stephane are a great, outgoing, stylish couple who love having their photo taken, and hence we can't wait to see the photos from Laura at
http://www.lollypopphotography.co.uk/ As you will see from the cake topper, and as was evident on the table name cards, being in front of the camera isn't something they shy away from....and for good reason. Michelle chose a truly stunning dress in the most beautiful shade of green and having seen the fabulous fabric and detailing on the hanger, I can't wait to see the dress in the photos.
Michelle wanted a contemporary and fresh, uncluttered and stylish theme for her flowers and gerberas were chosen as the star of the show. Given the colours being used in the dresses, we used lighter coloured foliage in the form of eucalyptus and variegated china grass, and used this throughout bouquets, buttonholes, wrist corsage and other wedding flowers. Pearls were the chosen accessory and hence the bouquets were all finished with pearl pins.
Having discussed a few different options for her tablecentres, Michelle decided upon fishbowls although in her heart we knew she wanted mirrored cubes. Thanks to her fairy godmother (her Mum) and some pre-wedding secrets, Michelle was surprised on the day with a set of lovely mirrored cubes on the tables, the top table (mini versions placed on coloured runners), the present table and the celebrant table. We helped finish the look by adding pearl pins to the centre of the gerberas as an additional surprise, along with gerberas inserted into the napkins. Adding scented green tealights into votives and placing the cubes on additional table mirrors meant that we bounced the early spring sunlight around the Hop Farm to best effect.
I'm sure we'll be able to show you some stunning photos of the bridal party soon, but in the meantime, we hope you like our (non-professional) photos of Michelle and Stephane's big day.
