For Phillipa and David's wedding, we wanted to use the beauty of West Heath House without overpowering it with too much decoration, and yet wanted a striking set of flowers. Being my favourite colour of purple I loved the combination of colours. Phillipa wanted a soft and natural feel to her flowers using seasonal blooms wherever possible and by fusing contemporary and vintage accents. Slightly faded purple hydrangeas were the star of the show and they provided the blowsy accents to other elements of the day. 
For Phillipa's bouquet, we provided a hand-tied full and blowsy bouquet of hydrangeas, calla lilies, freesias and lisianthus along with rosemary and eucalyptus parvi, all in shades of purple as a contrast to the dress. We then wrapped the stems in lace to match the bridal gown.
For the bridesmaids, we used the purple hydrangea as the main flowers, but added more ivory to contrast against their dresses, using bi-coloured ivory and purple lisianthus, ivory freesias and bi-coloured picasso calla lilies. For Flossie, the flower girl, we used the picasso calla lily surrounded by freesias and rosemary, but with a few feathers for extra wow and a little fun.
For the remainder of the bridal party, we featured freesias as the buttonholes and corsages in either ivory or purple, but added a calla lily for the groom to ensure he looked a little different and had one of the blooms from the bridal bouquet.
In the entrance hall, the staircase is beautiful as it stands so we decided to simply add an arrangement to the newel post at the bottom, and then attach large single hydrangeas at intervals with ivory organza. It added a little something to the staircase for such a special day, but also ensured it was displayed in its own true beauty.
Moving into the striking ceremony room, Phillipa and David had added two of their glass candelabra to the mantelpiece and we provided a small garland to effectively join the two candelabra and give a touch of colour (and hydrangea!) to the mantelpiece. We then adorned the very pretty writing desk with a full, yet relatively small arrangement matching all the wedding flowers. 
And finally, for the beautiful light reception room, Phillipa and David decided to keep the look really simple and provide elegant glass candelabra for each table. We added a touch of colour by sprinkling florets of the purple hydrangea around each candelabra and added clusters of hydrangea to the napkins on the top table to make it even more special. As the top table was in front of the fireplace, we added an arrangement to the centre of the mantelpiece that matched the one in the ceremony room just to give a touch of colour.
The sunlight glinted off the glass candelabra and the overall look of the room was understated and elegant and showed off the true beauty of the surroundings. As a finishing touch, we added a few hydrangea florets to the cake plate to work alongside the yummy looking colourful cup cakes. 
Carly and Kris' wedding plans changed over a period of time and they decided to keep their ceremony simple and intimate and actually got married overseas. However, they wanted their reception to be exactly the same, and hence we made no changes at all to the tablecentres. We used Previa anthuriums, deep purple gladioli, silver bear grass and silvered birch (which isn't easily seen in these photos but looked lovely glinting in the light). All were tied with silver ribbon to give to guests. The simple addition of the water colour completed the look.
