When we met Carly and Kris on one very cold winter's day, we immediately "hit it off" and knew that their style was similar to ours. They didn't want "run of the mill" flowers but equally wanted some simple, striking and slightly quirky. Their theme was purple (our favourite) and silver which is always a lovely combination and as they were really excited about the use of the purple anthurium, the design evolved from there. Even though we were early delivering the flowers and the tables weren't quite complete, we think the arrangements worked so well within a marquee style setting, giving an elegance and stature whilst remaining essentially quite simple.
Carly and Kris' wedding plans changed over a period of time and they decided to keep their ceremony simple and intimate and actually got married overseas. However, they wanted their reception to be exactly the same, and hence we made no changes at all to the tablecentres. We used Previa anthuriums, deep purple gladioli, silver bear grass and silvered birch (which isn't easily seen in these photos but looked lovely glinting in the light). All were tied with silver ribbon to give to guests. The simple addition of the water colour completed the look.
