Jessica and Matt's Garden of England wedding...with a brae!

When we first spoke to Jessica having provided the wedding flowers for her best friend's sister, we told her that we were unfortunately overbooked on her wedding weekend and couldn't help.  We gave her some suggestions on other florists to contact and a little bit of advice.  We hadn't bargained for the determination of the diminutive Jessica though...she's going to be a great lawyer as she waited a while, spoke to others and then came back and persuaded me to change my mind and help her with her wedding.  We're so pleased she did.

I so enjoyed working with Jessica...a more determined lady I couldn't wish to meet.  She organised all the wedding herself, with a trip away to Japan and a finite deadline on everything as she was starting her new career in London...with a new address, a wedding and new husband to consider too. Amazing.  We loved helping with the details and finding the right "fat" roses for her.

Her wonderful husband knew she was a bookworm (just like me) and had proposed to her with the ring buried in a complete works of Austen book by a stately home...what more could you want.  The book took pride of place on the top table with lots of other lovely books dotted around the wedding...my idea of heaven.

Rather than describe all the flowers to you here, we've made them wedding of the month on the website, so go to the Wedding Flowers Portfolio, then scroll down to the Featured Wedding of the Month and voila!  Lots and lots more photos of the church, bouquets, pole marquee, phenomenal setting and flowers.  Here's a small taster to whet your appetite of a fabulous wedding.  Quintessentially English....except Jessica's parents are from South Africa....hence the order of the day for the food was naturally a brae...beats a hog roast I think.

Enjoy this lovely wedding that we nearly didn't do!  Here's the gorgeous couple (with a photo stolen from Facebook!)
