Kaylie and Peter's wedding - Leeds Church and Chilston Park Hotel

We're a little bit behind with our blogs...sorry!  Plenty of snippets on Facebook but fewer full weddings...I will catch up, even if it's in the winter.  In the meantime, today is Kaylie and Peter's elegant wedding in creams, browns and mochas.  We thought it was a particularly stylish wedding and can't wait to see the lovely Kaylie in her gown.

For her bouquet Kaylie chose large headed scented roses, hypericum berries, cymbidium orchids and additional loops of brown ribbon.  We wrapped the stems in white ribbon with a narrower chocolate brown ribbon at the top.  After all the vintage textured bouquets we've done recently, it was nice to work with a neat and tidy style for a change.  We loved it, and hope Kaylie and Peter did too.

For her bridesmaids, we produced simple rose bouquets edged with brwn leaves and tied them with ivory ribbon with a narrower chocolate brown ribbon at the top.

The boys all followed suit with Peter wearing a rose and orchid buttonhole and the rest of the boys wearing just the rose with the brown foliage.  The Page Boy had a slightly smaller version of the buttonholes and the ladies had tailored corsages to match their outfits.

Kaylie and Peter didn't want a long trailing arrangement for their top table, so we decided on a more boxy style using all the flowers used elsewhere.  We then added empty vases for the bridesmaids' bouquets at each end and added additional loose flowers to the front of table and place settings.

For the guest tables, we used large martini vases filled with brown sisal and then finished them with a domed rather than trailing arrangement of lilies, roses, germinis, hypericum and brown foliage.  Very elegant indeed.

We were also impressed with the chair covers, sashes, napkins and finishing touches provided by www.perfecttouches.biz  They were really professional and the sashes were doubled around giving a different, smaller bow to the chair...very nice indeed.  Great choices Kaylie!

We hope that Kaylie and Peter had a lovely day...it certainly looked as though it was going to be very special and even the weather decided to be on it's best behaviour!
