Emma and Neil's wedding at Cooling Castle Barn

You couldn't possibly meet a couple more in love and excited to get married than Emma and Neil.  They are just such a wonderful positive couple with their lovely daughter Daisy and their excitement was so infectious.  It transpired after first meeting them that Jane, one of our florists used to live close to Neil when he was young and he babysat for Jane's boys...what a coincidence!  Needless to say that Jane was keen to be involved and worked with us for the wedding.  I've "stolen" a Facebook photo to show you all my lovely couple...I'm sure they won't mind.

Emma had originally chosen a dusky pink, green and ivory theme, but decided on a slight colour change to coral and peach which made it look just that little bit different.  Her dress was a gorgeous strapless gown with detailing on the hip and we designed a long teardrop bouquet for her using Vendella, Miss Piggy and Peach Avalanche roses along with cymbidium orchids, hypericum, trachellium, ranunculus along with soft foliage.  We also added spriggy pearls and crystals to tie in the details.

For Emma's bridesmaids, we provided hand-tied bouquets of roses, ranunculus, trachellium and hypericum and for the gorgeous Daisy, we made a floral "wand" of Miss Piggy rose, feathers and sparkles...so sweet.

Neil wore an elegant cymbidium orchid to match his lovely bride along with ranunculus, trachellium and foliage.  The rest of the boys wore roses, and the Mums and Nan had corsages designed to match their outfits.  We also provided thank-you bouquets for the Mums (but forgot to photograph them)

For the ceremony, we designed a long and low arrangement to be placed on the celebrant table and then added two large martini vase arrangements at the front to frame Emma and Neil taking their vows.  We also added roses to each of the bows down the aisle to finish the room perfectly.

For the wedding breakfast, we used large martini vases filled with sisal and fairy lights for extra sparkle.  We then added full arrangements of lilies, ranunculus, trachellium, hypericum, along with trailing foliage.  We placed each on a mirror and they looked lovely and fresh against the brick of the barn.

We added a long arrangement to the top table, and finished the barn with fairy lights on each beam.

We have to add the cake from our friends at www.creativeweddingcakes.co.uk.  Well it wouldn't be a wedding without a cake!

We absolutely loved being involved in Emma and Neil's big day.  I'm just sorry that we won't be chatting again, as it always brought a smile to my face to speak to them.  I wish them all the very very best for what I know will be a life filled with love!
