Nina and Denver wanted to use soft flowers and we decided upon hydrangeas, roses and ornithogalum arabicum as the focal flowers, and then added seasonal favourites such as agapanthus, bridal gladioli, chincherinchee and lisianthus. Nina also wanted to incorporate pearls wherever possible, and we added the final black touch with bear grass.
For Nina's bouquet, we went for a textured bouquet with soft trailing sections around the side. We added pearls draped in between, and from the sides, and added black lace to the white stems. The bouquet was really quite different, very soft and noticeable and would suit Nina and her beautiful dress perfectly. We also provided a throw bouquet for Nina so that she could keep her bouquet intact. Finally we wired some individual florets from the ornithogalum and also some spray roses for Nina to add to her hair.
For the flower girls, we provided ivory rose "wands" with pearls and black feathers. We wrapped the stems with both white and black ribbons.
For Denver, we used two elements of Nina's bouquet (Maroussia rose and ornithogalum) along with bear grass sprigs. We then provided the unusual ornithogalum arabicum for the remainder of the groom's party with bear grass. Mums wore wrist corsages and Nan wore a lapel corsage of spray roses.
To welcome the guests to the small barn, we provided a black acrylic cube arrangement for the coffee table.
We then provided two cube arrangements for the celebrant table.
For the top table, we placed a cube arrangement in the middle, and one at each end.
Each guest table was then dressed with a black acrylic cube filled with hydrangeas, ornithogalum, lisianthus, bridal gladioli, chincherinchee, black bear grass and pearls.
We then finished the three tier cake with a topper to reflect the table arrangements.
With the room finished with white chair covers and black bows, Nina and Denver's wedding was very elegant and striking and we hope that given all the pleasure Nina has provided for other brides, they had the day of their dreams, as they deserve it.
