Lee and John's Silver Wedding Anniversary party at Brandshatch Place Hotel

Having been married 25 years, it definitely seems time for a wonderful party and that's exactly what Lee and John arranged for over 100 guests.  They decided to book the whole of Brandshatch Place for their party, and hence we had the opportunity of dressing various rooms and areas with flowers.

Lee had chosen a fabulous grecian style white dress with diamate trim and hence we wanted to keep the flowers simple yet striking.  Lee loves green and white together and hence we went for a strong zesty lime green in the form of Anastasia Blooms, Supergreen roses, Cymbidium orchids along with hydrangeas.  We then added Maroussia roses, large headed white hydrangeas and chincherinchee for the white / ivory.  We then added touches of silver ting ting and birch through all the arrangements to match the reason for the party.

For the main terrace room, we added large mirrored cubes to mirrors for the tables and scattered table confetti sparingly around the edge.  We then provided a hand-tied arrangement of flowers with a little height in the centre for each of the cubes. We provided these in hidden water packs to ensure they could be given to guests at the end of the evening to take home.  We then finished the radiator cabinets with green hydrangea florets in between votives containing tealights.

We provided a lower arrangement for the bar, once again in a large cube, then dressed various tables in the lounge with smaller cubes containing low arrangements of roses, foliage and  silver accents surrounded by tealights in votives.  A further larger arrangement was placed on a side table, and on the reception desk to ensure all areas tied together.

For the buffet table, we provided taller front facing arrangements in green, ivory and silver in taller half mirrored cylinders (which I forgot to photograph...duh!)

We then dressed the outside tables with votives containing green roses, and hung long arrangements on the end of the staircase in the courtyard with silver organza twisted up the handrails to the top, which we finished with a silver bow and an Anastasia bloom through the centre.

To greet guests at the main entrance, we provided a foliage garland up the steps, looped up with a silver bow and a Supergreen rose through the top.  The top and bottom of the handrails were dressed with large silver organza bows through which we pulled a large headed green hydrangea.

Finally, Lee and John had a two tier cake designed for them, which we dressed with fresh flowers to match all the others, and finished the table with some "25" scatter confetti.

We believe it was a wonderful night / morning (!) and that everyone had a fabulous time which is just what you want after 25 years of marriage.  Lee and John showed everyone exactly how a party should be thrown and we were delighted to have been involved.
