Hannah and Bruce's pretty and romantic Bradbourne House wedding

With the first signs of spring in the air, I decided to look back at some of our lovely outdoor weddings from last year and realised I hadn't shared with you the lovely wedding of Hannah and Bruce.  They married in June, so were able to make use of the very beautiful but very seasonal peonies.  To that we added hydrangeas, lisianthus, freesias, sweet peas, veronica, trachellium, bouvardia, gypsophilia, chincherinchee, guelder rose and more.  It was soft, romantic, and pretty with a natural, slightly vintage vibe.

For the bouquets, we used a selection of all the flowers, with an emphasis on ivory with just a hint of blush pink.  Hannah's bouquet included peonies and was larger in size than the bridesmaids and all were wrapped in lace ribbon.  We also added an heirloom cameo brooch to Hannah's bouquet.  She looked simply fabulous...what more can we say...so glamorous!  Bruce looked pretty good too!

For the groom's party, we used lisianthus, chincherinchee, veronica and foliage for Bruce's buttonhole and then scaled them down from there.  Mums' corsages were designed to tie in with their chosen outfits.

We dressed the aisle chairs with gypsophilia for the ceremony in the Secret Garden and added garlands around the pillars with clusters of gypsophilia added at intervals.  We also added flowers to the trees at the entrance to the main house.

For the reception, we decided we would mix taller arrangements with lower and had tall cream candelabras for the corner tables with very soft and natural floral arrangements on top.  We then finished these tables with a few smaller vases of flowers at the base.

For the remainder of the tables, we used mismatched birdcages fully dressed with flowers and surrounded with other vases and containers of flowers.

For the top table, we used smaller birdcages at each end, and then added a selection of vases, jugs, marmalade jars and mini birdcages all along the length all filled with flowers to match the wedding.

We also added a few vases and a birdcage to the mantelpiece in the entrance hall to pull everything together.

It really did all look so pretty and light in Bradbourne House and we know they all had an amazing day...so now we have a little bit of sun again, we can start looking forward to other lovely days like this.
