Sanja and Gary's wedding at Dorton House

We've just added a new featured wedding of the month to our Wedding Flowers Portfolio on the website and it's the gorgeous Sanja and Gary's Dorton House, Sevenoaks wedding.  Sanja is so stunning and elegant and we knew it would be a striking, yet understated wedding.  She had chosen a pale yellow / lemon for her bridesmaids and hence we added ivory flowers and foliage along with subtle sparkle.

Sanja carried a shower bouquet using lilies, lisianthus, roses, bouvardia, trachellium, freesias and foliage along with sparkles.  The bouquet will look far more striking if seen with Sanja but we will have to make do with holding it against the wall for the time being.

Sanja's bridesmaids carried hand-tied bouquets of roses, bouvardia, freesias and foliage.

The boys wore rose buttonholes, with Gary having an additional freesia added.  Mum had a corsage designed to match the wedding theme and her outfit, and Sanja and Gary ordered her a thank-you bouquet to match too.

For the ceremony we provided an arrangement for the table, along with a scattering of soft petals.  We also provided two pedestal arrangements and an arrangement for the mantelpiece.  We loved the chair sashes they had chosen as well...nice to see something other than a bow for a change.

We then provided three seperate boxy arrangements for the top table to work with the swagging on the front of the table.  We added petals and crystals in between.

We then added tall glass vases topped with full arrangements on each of the guest tables.  We placed each on a mirror sprinkled with petals and crystals, and added a rose half-way up the vase to give guests a little something to look at during the meal.  Once the chairs were added to the room after the ceremony, it would have been a fabulous sight.

We added an additional arrangement into the fireplace to give additional colour.

The cake was designed by www.charlottescakesandchocolates.co.uk and looked so lovely...lots of different flavours inside and such delicate icing on the outside.  The fun topper finished it all off.  We also loved the very elegant table plan.

You can see from all the details that such great thought had gone into ensuring that all the colours, sparkles and little details all went together beautifully and created a very special day for Sanja and Gary.  Sanja looked truly gorgeous when we saw her in the morning...and she was still in her rollers.  The finished result was beautiful and I'm sure left Gary speechless for a while.  We hope that this was their perfect day, and also hope that the colours and style give you a little inspiration as well.
