Emma and Pete's wedding at Elvey Farm

Another lovely wedding at Elvey Farm on Friday. Despite the torrential rain the day before, the sun was streaming through the windows at Elvey, lighting up the celebrant table. Emma had been very laid back in the run up to the wedding, not to mention ill!, but was really getting excited on her wedding morning.

The flowers were a beautiful choice for the setting, and worked well alongside Emma's "pirate lanterns". We weren't sure exactly how we were going to design them until we started, but they came together very easily and quickly and we were pleased with the results.

Elvey was set-up and ready as promised when we arrived and looked immaculate. It is so peaceful and relaxed there, that we didn't really want to leave. However, we decided that being uninvited guests at a pirate themed wedding might not go down too well, and we certainly didn't want to be made to walk the plank. We now can't wait to see Emma and Pete's photos, but in the meantime, we've attached a couple of our own.

  1. Hi Amanda
I would like to say the biggest thank you to you and all that work with you for my wedding flowers. They were so beautiful and so much more than we could have ever imagined. Even pete was impressed and he isnt a flower man.
The lanterns were stunning and made the room and the marquee smell so lovely.
You captured the feel and look that we wanted for the wedding perfectly without taking away from the beauty of elvey farm. Charlotte loved her wand and was so happy that she could take it home with her.
I have only just thrown my bouquet away which was sad but have managed to press some of the flowers as a reminder.
Thank you again for all your help.
When we get the photos back we will send you some.
    Take care em xxxxxx

  2. Hi Emma,

I am so pleased you liked your flowers so much, and that we managed to impress Pete. We loved working with you, and it was so nice designing something around your own tablecentres. We were very pleased with the result too. I'm sure the photos will be making it into another wedding portfolio soon.

It was really good working with you, and being a part of your special day, and we would love to see some photos of you and Pete whenever you get the chance.

    Kindest regards to you both
    Amanda
    xx
