The pretty surroundings of The Secret Garden |
What better way to deal with dull and dreary days but to look back to last summer and remember some of the sunnier days. As my blog writing has slowed down considerably, we have lots of lovely weddings from last year still to feature, and today it seemed like a Lauren and Oz kind of day! Their colour scheme was purple, lilac and ivory, their style soft and pretty and their venue the very relaxed and pretty Secret Garden in Mersham le Hatch. Lauren and Oz had bought a few containers for the tables themselves (some birdcages, wicker containers and jam jars) and we added to them with some of our own vintage vases.
The flowers we chose for Lauren and Oz were hydrangeas, roses, veronica, lisianthus, sweet peas, lavender, flowering mint, chincherinchee and soft foliage. We added pearls and an heirloom brooch and voila we have a beautiful wedding. Firstly here are the bridal party flowers.
