Liz and Matt's continuing wedding celebrations - the blessing in the family church in Essex

Photographers often offer "trash the dress" or "cherish the dress" sessions to allow brides to wear their dresses again.  Liz didn't need such an option as a week after her fabulous wedding in Cornwall, Liz and Matt had their marriage dressed in the family church in Laindon in Essex.  This was to be followed by another party in the Ocean Beach in Southend on Sea allowing guests to attend who couldn't make it to Cornwall.

Whilst Liz and Matt had the same bridal party and were wearing the same outfits as the week before (thanks to a very accommodating dry cleaner!), they wanted to flowers to be more minimal.  We decided that Liz and Matt should have the same flowers, so we made another overarm bouquet, similar to the bouquet last week....no cornflowers or lavender this week, although the scilla made a welcome appearance instead.

The groom's party again had yellow germinis and gerberas as buttonholes, with eryngium, eucalyptus and rosemary added.  Ladies corsages were really natural including chincherinchee, matricaria, and white eryngium along with rosemary and eucalyptus.  Liz's Mum wore a wrist corsage to amtch her striking purple and red outfit.

This week, we decided to keep the bridesmaids' flowers really simple with double germini wrist corsages for the older girls and single germini wrist corsages for the younger girls.  For the flower girl, we provided another small posy to tie in with Liz's bouquet....let's hope she gets to keep it, not freeze it this time.

We also provided a range of hurricane lamps filled with sand, shells, eryngium heads and germinis along with a central candle to be dotted around the evening venue, and also provided a random selection of vases filled with natural bunches of matricaria, germini, eryngium, scilla, delphinium volkefriede, chincherinchee and aromatic foliage.   No photos I'm afraid of the venue as we couldn't set up the tables as they were full for lunch. I've been told it all looked lovely in the evening, especially with candles lit.

Finally, Liz and Matt wanted a bouquet for two of their guests who were celebrating their first wedding anniversary on Saturday....we decided to tie the flowers into the wedding, but also provide a touch of red to give it a little extra....let's hope they liked it.
